The Carolina Trailblazers are a fictional Major League Baseball team based out of the Carolinas. In the heart of the Southeast, where the Blue Ridge Mountains roll into the Atlantic and tradition meets ambition, the Carolina Trailblazers were born. A rooted in grit, grace, and the pioneering spirit of the Carolinas, the Trailblazers represent more than baseball — they represent the trail for a better tomorrow.

Team Logo & Stylescape
Scampy the Fox is the goofy, energetic mascot of the Carolina Trailblazers, known for his mischievous personality, love of hot dogs, and ability to bring fans together. His red fox identity connects to the Trail Forward Foundation’s conservation mission and nods to the Carolinas’ endangered red wolves. His name, Scampy, is also inspired by shrimp scampi, a tribute to Charleston’s Lowcountry shrimping culture.

Philanthropy
The Trail Forward Foundation is the Carolina Trailblazers’ philanthropy initiative, focused on protecting the Carolinas’ natural environment and improving quality of life across the region. Through reforestation, habitat restoration, youth education, community clean-ups, and partnerships with local organizations, the foundation invests millions of dollars into community-driven educational, recreational, cultural, and environmental programs. Its goal is to create a greener, stronger future for the Carolinas – both on and off the field.
To honor the team’s pledge to keep their communities clean, the Carolina’s Trailblazers’ food & drink merchandise sold at the stadium is all reusable and allowed to be brought back into the stadium all season long for repetitive use.

Founded in 1942, the Trailblazers were originally based out of Asheville, North Carolina and named the Blue Ridge Blazers, however in 2024 they relocated to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina under their new name.
From the pine of North Carolina to the palmetto shores of South Carolina, this region has always known trailblazers: explorers, farmers, artists, and athletes. The Carolinas don’t wait for opportunity; we carved our own path. The Carolina Trailblazers takes the field with that same mindset– bold, relentless, and unafraid of the unknown.
In the Trailblazers stadium, Budweiser Stadium, baseball stands as a celebration of place, a place for culture, a platform for connection, and the foundations of tradition – and most importantly, a place to take the field.
